Voting in Spirit Catholic Radio’s Superstar Catholic Schools Contest begins January 31st and runs through February 11th. This contest is a wonderful chance for students to shine … and a great way to show appreciation for our teachers and staff (and help our school WIN some awesome prizes too). Everyone can vote including students, teachers, grandparents, alumni and your friends and family … so be sure to spread the word to everyone you know!
HOW TO VOTE:
- Voting begins Monday, January 31st, to coincide with the kick-off of Catholic Schools Week.
- Voters can vote for one school in each of the 10 categories. You can only vote once, per email account.

How Are Categories Determined?
High schools are voted for separately from elementary schools. All school are categorized according to enrollment size — so our school competes against schools of student enrollment totals. Voters can vote for one school in each of the 10 categories.
When Are Winners Announced?
Voting is open for two weeks. On February 14th, Spirit Catholic Radio will announce the 10 winners (one school from each of the 10 categories).
What Do Winning Schools Receive?
The winning schools receive some pretty awesome prizes and promotional benefits for the school which include:
- An on-site interview with the Spirit Mornings show hosts at the school.
- $1,000 worth of on-air recorded announcements to promote the winning school.
- A visit from Spirit Catholic Radio — the station will deliver a large banner for the school, a shiny trophy and prayer cards for all students. Plus bragging rights!
About the Contest
For 10 years, Spirit Catholic Radio has been shining a spotlight on Catholic high schools and elementary schools in our listening area with our Superstar Contest. The Superstar Contest encourages them to see what a catholic education has to offer.
