As parents of a StJB student, you completed a form during registration which included contact information (email address and cell phone number for each parent). StJB pulled the contact information you provided us at registration and added it to the Flocknote system. Rest assured, all your contact information will be kept private and never shared. To ensure we have the correct email address and cell phone number to use when texting or emailing you school updates, please follow the steps below to VALIDATE OR CHANGE your contact information. After you complete the registration process, you will also be able to subscribe to school groups and organizations that your children participate in, or that you would like to receive updates and reminders from.

Follow the instructions below to register for Flocknote or to validate your contact information. Please be sure each parent completes this!

Register for Flocknote (one of two ways):

1. Text CARDINALS1 to 84576 through your cellphone or mobile device. Watch for a reply text from Flocknote and then follow the instructions to validate your information. OR
2. From your computer, go to stjbcatholic.flocknote.com and click on the box to get a magic link. Watch for an email from Flocknote and then follow the instructions.

Next Steps:

• When you are ready to select your groups, scroll down on the home page of Flocknote to find the various groups (such as activity or sports-related groups) and click on any groups you’d like join. By doing this, you will be automatically subscribed to receive communication. To unsubscribe from a group, simply deselect the group.
• Please be sure to add Flocknote to your email contact list or safe senders list. This is the BEST way to ensure all those important emails go straight to your inbox! This tells your email provider that you trust Flocknote and want to receive emails from your school.

HOW TO UNSUBSCRIBE FROM FLOCKNOTE

To Unsubscribe from Text Messages:
When you receive a text message from a school organization, reply STOP and you will be unsubscribed from the particular group that text was coming from (example: = Art Club, School Advisory Council, etc.). If it’s been a while since you’ve received a text, you can simply text STOP to 84576 (if in the US).

To Unsubscribe from Emails:
When you receive an email from a school organization, click the ‘Unsubscribe’ link that is in the bottom right corner of any note.

FAQs

Why would I want to sign up for groups with  Flocknote?

Signing up for a group allows you to receive only the information you want. For example, if you want reminders about “Fit Club” then sign up for the “HFit Club.”  If you no longer want messages from that group, simply go to Flocknote with your e-mail address or cell phone number and leave that group. With Flocknote you are in control of the messages you want to receive.

What if I want to unsubscribe from receiving texts and emails? 

The great thing about this service is that it’s always free and you can unsubscribe at any time.

What if I don’t have texting?

You can still sign up! As long as you have an e-mail address.

Is my information secure? Yes. All of your data is transmitted across an encrypted internet connection, and all of your personal information is stored in secure databases.
