Fall Festival

Oktoberfest – Fall Festival 2023

Join us for OktoberFEST, our school’s annual fall festival family event, on Saturday, October 7th, rain or shine. The event will begin at 5:00 pm, immediately following a 4 p.m. Mass at Church of the Holy Spirit. Admission into the festival free. Parking will be available in the church parking lot next to the school.

  • Beirgarten – featuring craft and domestic beer and unique beverages like spiced caramel apple cider (Must be 21 years of age or older)

  • Raffle Drawings (adults and kids) – do not need to be present to win

One of the raffle drawings is for a handmade 96” by 96” brown star quilt, crafted by the church’s talented quilting group. Tickets are $1 each or 6 tickets for $5. The raffle drawings will take place at 7:30 pm. You do not need to be present to win.

Tickets and Costs

Many of the games and activities, as well as food and drink, will require tickets. Tickets can be purchased at the event. Cash or check will be accepted.

A few pricing options are available:

  • The Cardinal Package – 22 tickets for $20
  • The Pope Package – 48 tickets for $40
  • The Saint Package – 80 tickets for $60

There will be several free activities for adults and children including hopscotch, apple catapult, giant jenga, giant connect four, and fall coloring crafts.

Limited-edition StJB OktoberFEST koozies (regular and slim size options) will be available to purchase at the event.

Silent Auction
Attendees will have the opportunity to bid on silent auction items in-person at the event. From tickets to the Omaha Community Playhouse, cornhole boards, to a fall decor basket or tickets to Vala’s Pumpkin Patch, there’s something for the whole family. This Sideboard Buffet Entry Table is a silent auction item at the event.

These Nebraska Cornhusker Cornhole Boards will be available to bid on in the silent auction.

Biergarten

Alcohol and non alcoholic drinks can be purchased at the event. You must be 21 or over to purchase alcohol. A valid ID must be presented.

Domestic and Oktoberfest craft beer, seltzers, mixed drinks, fireball shots, spiked hot caramel apple cider and a specialty drink, “The Holy Grail” will be available to purchase.

Cash, check or credit card will be accepted at the bar.
Volunteers
We are looking for dessert donations for the cake walk and soda/water bottle donations. Volunteers for set-up, tear-down and to work the games and activities during the event are also need. Please consider giving your time.
