Based on current information from Governor Ricketts and the Nebraska Department of Education, St. John the Baptist is planning to start classes in person this fall. Our reopening will take into consideration possible restrictions. Thescheduled start date for StJB is August 19th, per the school calendar.
While we hope and pray that school will be as “normal” as possible, we are also trying to prepare for potential situations that could arise as the school year progresses. We are currently in the process of developing a task force team, comprised of school administration, staff and school parents, to help explore various sceneriosfor reopening school in the fall to ensure the health and safety of the students and staff.
