To Our StJB School Families:

The recent floods in Nebraska have impacted so many lives in our community, including some of our very own school parents and teachers at St. John the Baptist. The disaster has left these families displaced from their homes without many important essentials and household supplies needed.

To help assist our StJB families in the coming weeks ahead, St. John’s is coming together to organize a fund drive. We are asking school families to consider giving their support through a financial gift of any size.

How to donate:

Cash or checks accepted. Checks can be made payable to St. John the Baptist School. If donating by check, be sure to list “Flood Relief” on your check memo.
Cash and checks should be sealed in an envelope and marked “Flood Relief.”
Donations can be dropped off at the school office or put into the collection basket at Mass. Or, you can drop off your donation at the table outside the gym at this week’s Spring Concert programs.

Donations will be accepted from now through March 31stOnce donations are received, St. John’s will organize and distribute the donations to school families.

If you are unable to make a financial gift at this time, there will be many other ways you can help these families in the days and weeks to come. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact either:

Thank you for your willingness to support our StJB community in this great time of need. Please continue to pray for all those that are in need and the first responders.

Special Note: If you are a school family who has been directly impacted by the recent disaster and are in need of support, please be sure to let us know.
