Last week our kindergarten students were excited to meet their eighth grade “Buddies” for the first time!
Throughout the year, eighth grade students will spend time with their little buddies in the classroom — nurturing a special relationship and bond with each other. The students will work together on projects, discover the joy of shared reading, play together, and enjoy one another’s company.
It’s beautiful to observe the strong relationship that develops between the oldest and the youngest students in the school, and often, outside of our hallways. The bond between them exemplifies the nurturing environment at St. John’s school and the emphasis we place on educating the whole child.
